    8. Mr. Beef Becomes Veggie-friendly
    "Beef" describes my college-senior son, Ted. He's six-foot tall and weighed 206. Over the holiday break he worked out five times a week and trimmed down to 199 pounds. To keep it off, he's ending the fraternity food and buying his own fruit and vegetables. I was astounded. He was actually going to skip fried chicken for a salad. And I remember when he used to take a green pill that contained "vegetable matter" because he never ate anything green.
