 9. Academic fervor I couldn't believe my ears. Ted, my college-junior son said he wants to graduate with a double degree. And on top of that, they would be in the witheringly difficult disciplines of Finance and Actuarial Science. This is coming from a kid who in middle school laughed about filing "econo-papers." What's more, he will have to stay in school an extra semester to get all the classwork in. My frat boy plans to join the intelligentsia! I'm in delighted disbelief.
